Data Resistors cycles

The cycles of the Marine Palini range offer very high levels of mechanical resistance and durability. For example, the cycle with the two coat finish both on a gel coat and on carbon fibre, has exceptional elasticity (Impact Test, direct impact from 1 metre) and considerable resistance to abrasion (0.02 gr. at 2,500 revs with 500 gr. cs10 abrasive wheels).

It resists more than 5,000 hours in a humidistat, in salt-fog and immersed in salt water (2% of sodium chloride) at 28°C. This means that there are no faults with the film of paint (blistering). Any blisters or cracking are caused by the support which has not been allowed to “mature” completely before the paint is applied or are due to a deterioration of the support itself.

The resistance on metal supports exceeds 1,000 hours in a humidistat, in salt-fog and immersed.
Exposure of the film of paint to bad weather leads to a very slow fading of the gloss and the colour over time. (QUV after 500 Δ gloss (-3%) ΔB= 0.4).
